Full-House Power-I Package with Pyburn and Sharp in the backfield

We've run that formation one time this season. Best run of the season and hasn't been touched again. How does that happen with a team that can't run the ball well traditionally?
I'm not even saying you have to put Pyburn back there again. Donovan Green? Walk-on tight ends? Other big bodies that don't get much playing time?
Even O and Slinger knew to keep running something until the other team stops it.

Every time a WR lines up or motions into the backfield they get the ball in a hand off.
Every time we have a RB in the backfield and motion a TE across the formation, its a run play.
On 4th a 2 in the most critical of situations, Greg McElroy called the play. Not the type of play - the exact play. Telestrated the motherfricker out just before we ran it.
Anyone defending this OC needs to be committed. 12 year olds playing Madden online getting hopped up on Mountain Dew have better instincts and creativity than this fool.

We are averse to plays that work. Haven’t you watched our offense?!

Yes I watched OTB today too

I haven't watched OTB since they brought on Hester. It's just common sense because we've had so few successful run plays.

It was the last play of the game vs a defense that couldn’t get off the field bc it’s qb threw 5 INTs yes, it was a great run, but it doesn’t mean that it would work consistently.
Would it hurt to try? Probably not, things can’t get much worse, but I highly doubt it would be successful on a consistent basis, there’s a reason it’s an obsolete scheme outside of a handful of times.

Wes Carpenter might be worth a look there. Next year it could be Deuce Geralds.

Sharp doesn't block well. Green, maybe... id personally make Jackson that lead block. Nobody wants to see 6-2 236 choo choo train of muscle down hill

All we need it is for a few times a game in short yardage on 3rd or 4th down. I'm not saying make it our main running formation. It literally can't be worse than the running "scheme" we have now

Even worse is that Nuss once again made the wrong decision. Brown was squatting in the soft spot in the zone for a gimme 6-7 yard gain.

With a new player in too
Every great coach says when you need a play, give it to your best player
We just call a play. The same play to get exactly the required yardage if everything goes perfectly.
