Full baseball schedule this weekend (all LSU games on SECN+)

Butler and CCSU will be playing each other twice, in addition to our games, so everyone will play 4. I got the game times between the other two from their team sites, but keep in mind, they're both on Eastern. The non-LSU games don't appear to have any coverage as far as I can tell, just live stats. Anyway:

Some tidbits on the Central Connecticut Blue Devils and the Butler Bulldogs:
-C.C. was supposed to play their first game last weekend but the game was canceled because of the blizzard that hit New England.
-So, CC's first game will be tomorrow (Friday) afternoon against Butler and then play LSU for their second game of the season on Saturday.
-C.C. was voted by their conference coaches to be the pre-season favorite to win their eleven team conference. They are in the Northeast Conference (NEC) with teams such as Merrimack, Delaware State, Choppin State, Norfolk State, Stonehill and Maryland Eastern Shore.
-Butler has played 8 games this season and has a record of 2-6.
-Butler has a team batting average of .238 and a team ERA of 8.57.
- In their 8 games their defense has committed 18 errors and their pitchers have walked 55 batters.
- They have stolen 10 bases out of 12 attempts.

FYI - Admission is free this weekend at 1 p.m. Friday and at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for non-LSU games between Butler and Central Connecticut State.

So they give up too many runs and start stealing when they get to survival mode? That’s what I’m reading with the stats.

It’s quite smart. With four games Friday - Monday, JJ has implemented a regional like feeling for his players. Getting used to potentially playing a game 7 on that Monday for regionals with serve well

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was the point. Putting us in a regional-like situation in the regular season, against 2 different teams, so we're ready for it when we get to the actual postseason.
