Scheduling baseball games in New England in Feb isn’t a smart move if you think about it. Now they have positioned themselves to play a revved up Tiger team at home first week.

We haven’t. Just Skenes. But our preview and Butler’s preview show them throwing different guys against us.

I posted it in another thread this week, but I think they stick with Cooper tomorrow. It's Sunday and Monday (and Wednesday, I guess) that I'm interested to see how they handle.

I’m thinking Hurd starts on Monday in an effort to work him into the weekend rotation by SEC play.

I think Hurd is inevitably the Saturday guy, but I'm just interested to see how they get there. They will have to maneuver rest days carefully.

That's why I'm kind of thinking Monday this week (one day less rest) and the maybe Sunday the following weekend and go from there.

Makes sense. If Jay is looking to get Hurd into the weekend rotation, Monday would be a great opportunity to get him there.

I could see it. You'd still have to maneuver rest for Shores (or whoever) around some to keep pushing Hurd forward. I have a few other ideas in mind, but they all require maneuvering rest.

I don't disagree but Jay said yesterday that they don't hate the template that they created last year. Meaning, just kind of pull the plug when it feels right (kind of a game feel thing). He said it would work even better this year having more good arms to use.

This is a thread that should be stickied every week.
Have the times and all of the 3 weekend games, expected pitching matchup, etc and update the stickied OP after each game to give a brief overview of what happened.
It's a lot easier for me to just open my browser, hit Tiger Rant, and see that thread to find out when the game is being played instead of having to go to the shitty LSUsports website.
