If anything maybe the state of La. should donate some money for not fixing something that seems to be a problem they've known about for some time.

I'm sure Les will do something like this and I highly doubt this was done with his consent. He's probably dealing with other arrangements right now.

Agreed. It's just hard to believe this didn't float by his or his wife's desk before it was approved and supported by LSU Athletics.

I can see both sides of this issue but these children were just orphaned.

Funds are set up for people who lose family members all the time. Why should they be any different

It's probably in response to tons of people offering to help, so all the douches in this thread should shut the frick up.

I have a response, "Thanks but no thanks, we'll handle it with our millions of dollars, how about you donate to THIS or THISinstead?"

If a serious tragedy ever happens to me I'm setting up a foundation and if I don't see Paypal receipts from BeeFense5 with a description of Good Catholic, I'm going straight to the Pope.

Jesus gave alms to the rich all the time, right? I might be in trouble if so.

For all you know (which is apparently nothing) this foundation may be set up to give scholarships or to help families who have lost loved ones, etc.

Think about what you post before you drag a family through the mud in their time of grief, you dumb little prick.

considering the age of the children and the tens of millions of dollars that thier uncle has made while coaching at LSU and other locations, this seems a bit odd

Not sure why there is such anger here. People wanted to help, so a fund is set up. If you don't want to donate, don't donate. I promise your life won't change because of this.

People may donate to whichever cause they deem worthy.

But for the university to be affiliated with it and to use Miles' name is just plain odd .. at best ..
