WTF dude? That was way, way uncalled for and definitely inappropriate.

Les has made almost $20M from LSU already, and has like $16M+ guaranteed from here on out from LSU

I understand that, I was merely trying to point out that while some think its tacky that Les would "allow" this, are not looking at it in any other light. I will admit in retrospect that it wasn't the best example.

The Mans sister just died. He haS his CHILDREN TO THINK OF, HIS parents, siblings. To think he gives a chit about this fund is silly. This fund is the last thing on his mind.

Agreed. He has his own kids that he has to think about. How and and his wife will retire one day. But those 2 things are 2 completely different conversations.

The fact is, these 2 kids just lost their mom. I think we can all agree on that. She was also a single mom.

No one is debating that Miles will not be there for them. We all know he will be. And always will be.

But to dump on a fund for these kids just because of who they are kin to is down right disgraceful.

Frankly, I'm shocked at some of the posts from people I see on here frequently who 99% of the time completely agree with.

The kids, the family is in mourning and to take a shot because of who they're related to, Miles will step in because he has all the money in the world, yadda yadda yadda......

When everyone is done griping about who set up this fund, did Miles know about it, he has a ton of money, the facts will still remain.....

These kids will not have their mom, the lady they grew up with..... EVER again.

Have a little compassion for the family.

many people identify strongly with their football teams, and when something happens like this, they want to feel like they're helping. In doing my taxes I saw where my wife sent $150 to the Dachshund Rescue Foundation, or some shite, in memory of a distant aunt.

Frankly I have no idea why this would bother anyone. Donate your money how you like, it's not like TAF is including a mandatory donation on your annual dues.

You're headed in the right direction. What we're doing here is defining the LSU fan to possible future coaches. Head football coach's sister gets killed in an accident. A fund is set up to help. The fans bitch unmercifully about that fund. Come coach here, the fans will probably hate you! Go tigers...........

I agree. Les Miles has made tens of millions of dollars from the people here. They need more money for the family? Sorry for the loss, but rich people shouldn't be asking for a handout.

I agree with alot of people on here this money is spent better elsewhere you don't have to go elsewhere you wanna give money LSU is laying professors off left and right but no one wants to donate to their well being. Les is making millions y'all they really don't need it.

Yes, as a junior in high school working a minimum wage job and going to school, I could have afforded to take care of myself.
