Glow in the dark paint, or black lights!that would be awesome! Use paint that reacts well to black light, the field would pop in that lighting!

If you want to next-level this shite, skip purple and go straight to black light. A 100,000 drunk rave.

ETA: KajunTiger beat me to it!

You can have updates like LED lights, video boards, upgraded sound system, etc. and still have the pageantry and atmosphere of the old stadium. The 2 aren't mutually exclusive.

I’d argue this greatly. The atmosphere in tiger stadium has been in severe decline the last 10 years. Anyone who goes to games regularly saw it. I went to every home game from 2012-2021. Obviously 2020 and 2021 are somewhat anomalies but even during the 2019 championship year, the atmosphere wasn’t even close to what it was for comparable games in 2012.

I think a lot of that has had to do with “modernizing” the atmosphere with more music, less band, and overall much more spoiled students.

Modernizing and updating hasn’t ruined the atmosphere. LSU fricked up and made it too big for the size of our fan base by ignoring advice from those teams with LED lights in their stadium. UT, Alabama, and UGA all suggested that we don’t increase the size of the stadium when we asked their opinion on the matter, and we ignored them. They are all more on the cutting edge than us when it comes to modernizing.

LSU let the fans have input on the new box. All the fans wanted tradition and to keep the box as close to original as possible. Look where that got them. Those same fans are bitching because we got passed up by everyone, and we have dumbass bullpens on our field.

It’s time of LSU to modernize Death Valley. It will 100% improve the atmosphere. It’s a better plan than them just sitting around hoping it gets better because we hire a new coach every other year. We spent money on coaches and now it’s time to spend it on aging facilities.

People that are constantly afraid of any change at all to a 100yr old stadium drive me up a wall.

Will that stop the pussies that leave at the half? Asking for a friend.

I have a friend who owns a paint company who can make that happen. Get me the guy at LSU who has authority to order some to try it out and sign an invoice and we can get some paint headed to Tiger Stadium.

Not only make the eye glow, but LSU in both end zones would look great too
