Blows my mind why these programs don't use common sense and just move games up to mid-day when things look like this for afternoon/night, us included. We could've avoided SEVERAL 3-4 hours delays this year if they'd just moved games up to noon or 1PM.

LSU did this early season and all fans were pissed they couldnt get to the games cause work or being from out of town. There's no perfect answer for weather and baseball.

Storms will move in between 2:00-3:00. They would have the start the game before noon to get it in.

They’ve been playing double headers for 150 years. They’ll try to play today but at least the weather looks great for tomorrow if they can’t play tonight. It’ll be ok. Stupid as shite for people trying to go to the game to play early on a Friday.

With LSUs lack of pitching depth there is no way TAM would play this game on friday and give Jay a chance to use Cowan or evans twice in the series.

My friends in B/CS said they got hammered with bad weather last night.

Why do our fans continue to insist that LSU has this "lack of pitching depth"?
Do you folks watch any of the other teams in this conference?
Everyone has a "lack of pitching depth" compared to years past.

No they don't. You'd think after watching the Tennessee series last weekend they would realize this.

Agreed! Many casual fans seem to assume that other teams have 3 legit SEC starters and 5 dudes in the bullpen that consistently pitch clean innings and get outs in clutch situations regularly.
Those of us who actually follow this close know that is rarely the case. Good SEC staffs have 4 or 5 real arms total. Any more than that and the staff is elite IMO.
This staff is good. The 4 real arms they have all have shown the ability to give some length. Deployed correctly, they can give you 20-24 innings out of a 27 inning weekend. That’s a winning formula.
Hoping that one of the young arms can find some consistency and the offense can win us some games while that happens.

There’s a whole new round of storms that will move through this afternoon.

Good bit of lightening in this storm right now, too. CS has storms moving in from the south and the north this afternoon.

Our pitching has been very good. And our offense isn’t as bad as some would like to think either. We are at the top of the league in both pitching and offense.
LSU is one of only 2 SEC teams in the Top3 in both ERA and BA in conference play. LSU is #2 in ERA and #3 in BA. Arkansas is #1 in BA and #3 in ERA.
Texas: #1 ERA, #9 BA
Tennessee: #5 ERA, #6 BA
Georgia:# 11 ERA, #12 BA
Vandy: #4 ERA, #14 BA
Auburn: #10 ERA, #8 BA
A&M: #9 ERA, #15 BA
Bama: #7 ERA, #12 BA
OleMiss: #12 ERA, #3 BA
Oklahoma: #6 ERA, #5 BA
Florida: #14 ERA, #6 BA
Kentucky: #8 ERA, #11 BA
MissSt: #13 ERA, #2 BA
South Carolina: #15 ERA, #9 BA
Missouri: #16 ERA, #16 BA

In other words, this is a pretty well-rounded LSU team that can beat you with pitching and/or offense.

Stuff from Round Rock is heading due east. Hopefully it rolls kn through and we can do a little delayed first pitch round 8:30pm central

There’s a decent chance 1st pitch could be around 9:00-10:00 pm. Check out what’s moving in from the SW to be sure. Storms have a lot of lightening associated with them so there’s that, too.

I kind of hope this happens because I’m taking my kids to a fair tonight. Would be nice to come on and watch the game from start to finish.

My radar is showing rain ending at 9pm
