Kentucky is up on Auburn in game 1, 4-0 in the bottom of the 4th.

Southeastern is losing to Houston Baptist.

Northwestern St is losing to Incarnate Word.

If LSU sweeps Vandy and Kentucky takes 2/3 from Auburn LSU ends up the 4 seed at 17-13 ahead of 16-13 Auburn. Kentucky sucks but they took 2/3 from Tennessee so crazier things have happened.

Are you looking at this with the thinking of , “ they will only let so many sec teams host” ? Or is more about where we’re seeded in the sec tournament and how that may look to the committee

Was about to start this thread

Kentucky sticking it to Auburn. We’ll only be half a game back with 2 to play if they hang on in this first one.

I thought they said last night that it wasn’t that simple. I believe other teams are involved in that situation. Although Georgia losing last night helped

I don't have a strong handle on what we need or what other teams need to do. I know the Auburn series has an impact on our SEC tourney seeding.

I mainly just wanted a thread to discuss today's games.

Outside of LSU/Vandy and UK/Auburn series don’t think anything else is going to have much impact on us.

If LSU finishes ahead of Auburn in the standings we will get the 4 seed and bye in the SECt. RPI isn’t going to move as much as we would’ve hoped I don’t think. We only moved up 3 spots last night after beating the #3 RPI team on the road.

Sure hurt like hell though when we dropped 20 spots after getting swept by Ole Miss at home. Don’t know what that’s about.

Ok, I gotcha. It makes it more fun to have an interest in the other games

I think we need Georgia to lose.

Correct, I believe Mizzou winning that series would keep them in the top 50, thus 3 more Q1 wins for us.

There is a feature on Warren Nolan to set up a custom scoreboard. I did that earlier today, but when the website refreshed, the scoreboard didn't populate.

As far as last nights games go, pretty disappointed in ULL not carrying their weight last night.

It's that simple. If LSU wins their last two games and finishes 17-13 no one is catching them from behind so if they pass Auburn LSU is the 4 seed.

We hold the tiebreaker over both Fla and UGA. Get to 17, with Au at 16, we're 4 seed and a lock for a regional host.

Florida and Georgia can't get to 17. But the tiebreaks are good in case LSU doesn't get to 17.

Towson is up 3-0 on College of Charleston.

I imagine some of the Southland and SWAC schools, and Towson or Maine, have a big impact on our RPI, but them winning is better than them losing.

I still think that the committee will have RPI low on their list due to teams cancelling games to protect their RPI.
