"big contract" is a relative term obviously. he had a 1 yr 2 million dollar contract with Tampa. That's huge for the average person, but he was supposed to earn 7 million with Jacksonville on a guaranteed contract, but Jacksonville is trying to void that payment. Could be a near 5 million dollar net loss for him. If so this has to be a very, very bitter pill to swallow and the success for him this year has to be bitter-sweet.

he should earn a big-ger contract this year, doubtful it will be in the 7 million dollar/yr range, maybe he can get that over 2 years. Who knows maybe some endorsement deals also. One thing for sure is this past year he has learned the value of a buc(k).

Sounds like Fournette

You'd think he'd have learned. I think he's better than ROJO in some ways. But come one man, just toe the line for year at least.

The problem with LF is his work ethic and his vision on the field.

I will never forget the cutback that was there against Alabama. He made maybe a 10 yd run, that would have been 70 if he just looked around.
I wish someone could find that run.
At home, left to right in front of tiger bench. He ran out of bounds but NO ONE was in middle of field.
He just didn't see it, exactly what we see now.

Here's Henry's 2020 highlights. They are great but how many of these plays does Henry get hit in the backfield then break 2 more tackles to score?

Henry rushed for 2000 yards. You don’t do that without breaking a few tackles.

Don’t be dumb.

ETA: LINK

Both Henry and Jones were top 5 in YAC/Att. Fournette is a solid NFL back, but he’s not the “generational talent” he was hyped to be. It’s time to let it go.

Henry was 3rd in the league in broken tackles so I’d guess a few
Henry is elite at breaking tackles downfield

Henry is horrific at breaking tackles in the backfield or near the line of scrimmage

I'm not a Fournette fan after what he pulled in Jacksonville laughing with Yeldon on the bench while their team was getting beat. Hope he makes the most of this opportunity because there aren't too many left for him!

I forgot who I was talking to ,your hate for Henry is strange. Hint- if you're the only one who thinks something then you're probably wrong about that thought .

I would argue hes got more opportunities now then he did at that time. .unless that was the season he carried them to the AFC championship? If it was the next year, then hes in better position now.

:22 second mark. If he SEES anything, he goes left and might still be running.
Vision sucks.

And there's more..almost every run, the cut is there

I’m happy for anyone that does well

I just don’t trust Fournette
He quit on LSU and he’ll quit on an NFL team too

Fournette is about Fournette

Fournette was put in a horrid situation in Jacksonville. That locker room and leadership were toxic. That doesn’t mean Fournette didn’t carry any blame, but Jacksonville has been as bad over the last 5 or so years as Houston is now with the Eaterby cancer there.

It was a horrible situation for anyone. Now in a well-run organization, hopefully he will get himself straight and reach his potential.
