all of y’all just want to turn on Guice because Leonard is killing it in the NFL right now while guice is injured.
that's EXACTLY when the Guice>Fournette talk began, when Fournette was injured and Guice was playing better at that moment. A healthy Fournette is much better than a healthy Guice, always has been. He's bigger, stronger, more explosive, every bit as fast, etc. I don't even think you can say Guice has better vision honestly. Fournette had no trouble finding holes in 2015 when he was healthy unless he was swarmed in the backfield. Guice can't seem to find holes this year either.

I love watching him run. Power, speed, agility.
I love how they call his spin move the corkscrew. Maybe there is a back story there.
Good for him having a big day.

I’m not disagreeing that Fournette is better overall. If he stays healthy he has a chance to be a true all time great. But Guice has All-Pro potential himself, especially with the NFLs shift towards being pass happy. He’s going to be a better fit for a lot of teams than Fournette is. Now that wouldn’t be the case for the Jaguars, Fournette is the perfect fit. But there are going to be teams that view Guice > Fournette

I remember when folks were saying Guice was just as good as Fournette....
I remember when folks were saying Jeremy Hill was better than Fournette.
Here are some of the best hits:
SFP "Hill was more explosive."
"don't get me wrong LF7 had some great runs with highlight reel action going on, but hill would take many of those "big play" opportunities to the house on the right line. his read/vision allowed him to avoid the defenders eliminating the chance of the highlight juke/truck"
LE: "You're comparing greatness here. But Hill's ability to wait for a hole or see a cutback separates him from Leonard. Not a knock on Leonard, but that's the truth."

He is. It hard to stack up yards when you are met in the backfield by the defense on every play. Do you recall how Leonard Fournette did when he encountered the same thing (Bama)? He didnt fair too well. Even a Hall of Famer wouldnt be able to do anything if he wasnt getting any blocking from his offensive line. Guice is also banged up much like Leonard was last season. Cool take though.

The "fit" is VERY important, both are great backs! If you want more of a downhill runner, LF is your guy, DG may be a better fit for offense that want their backs to do more, be a receiver out of the backfield, etc.

If a college football player runs 22 mph and the speed limit on campus is 15 mph, should he get a ticket ?
Just asking...
Just asking...

Fournette would be a great fit in any offense. Guice would not.

Fournette is on pace for 42 catches and 410 yards receiving this year. The notion that he can't catch out of the backfield is a myth. LSU just didn't call many plays for him to catch the ball. But when they did, they worked. In his career, Guice has 18 receptions for 154 yards. In his sophomore season alone, Fournette had 19 catches for 253 yards.

I wonder what Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker ran?
Posted on 10/10/17 at 5:27 pm to Alt26
fricking just stop it. Fournette shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as walker and bo. Jesus.

Why shouldn't he? LF is a stud and everyone in the stadium knew he was getting the ball and he still put up great stats except against bama. I will go ahead and say it Fournette will be a better pro than both Bo and Hershel.

I remember a couple weeks ago tRant called LF7 a POS for kneeling during the anthem. Now tRant back on his nut sack

In the fourth quarter and in the rain during a professional football game and not against a poor defense.
