Joey Belle was a flaming arsehole throughout his career at LSU. He didn't grow that attitude in the major leagues. Skip finally kicked him off the team just before going to Omaha as I recall the time frame. He was one of the biggest racists in LSU sports history & caused nothing but problems while on the team. A great HR hitter but a very poor team player. Cantrell would have never lost any popularity contest,as the voters would have been too scared to vote against him. Literally.
