RIP Wayne.

Im sure the burden of losing his son the way he did caused stress. Sad situation for his wife.

Man. So sad. That poor family. Poor Fay. God I hate hearing this. Wayne was such a good dude who undoubtedly lived with overwhelming grief himself for his final few years. RIP Wayne.

Had the pleasure of meeting him on the court at the PMAC a few years back when LSU cut down the nets after clinching the SEC Championship. He was very kind to everyone who wanted to talk to him and took pictures with everyone who asked, including myself.

RIP. Mr Sims

RIP Wayne. Loved the way he played ball, and his free throw line jumper was icy

Wayne was an outstanding player who would have been All SEC at other schools but had lower numbers due to the other stars on his teams. His game was similar to recent Tiger Darius Days, but with a little less range.

Never knew him personally, but from his demeanor, he was a class individual. The kind of guy everyone should appreciate.
Prayers for his family and friends.
Sad day for basketball fans as well.

Feel awful for his wife…. RIP Wayne and Wayde. On the bright side, he is now reunited with his son. Still gone way too soon

Worked with him quite a few years ago. He was a really great person and true joy to everyone around. He will be missed.
