My favorite Tiger of all time.

I agree. But I also would have to say he didn't play in enough games to count.
Remember KF on the sideline making like he was pulling the air horn in a Diesel rig while CC was running over and through people.
Auburn wanted no more of him in that game.

Glenn Dorsey should easily be next and is well overdue. He won more national award, 2 time All-American and national champion. The most decorated defensive player in LSU history.

Again, Fournette was good, but he didn’t even give us 3 full years. Faulk gave us 4, and they ran him to death, and he never slowed down.
They're surprisingly comparable when you go down the columns, except for returns.
Faulk had 600 yards of receiving, 4 receiving TDs in his career, as well as over 1500 receiving yards and 3 receiving TDs.
Fournette did have over 500 yards receiving, 1 receiving TD, but barely over 1/3 of Faulk's return yards.

Cecil Collins played 4 games against a bunch of nobodies and lost to the only good team he played against. Cecil Collins isn’t even on the radar. Y’all crazy for mention this name all the time. Guice had a better 4 game stretch than he did. Man Cecil is so good y’all see what he did to almighty UTEP and Akron?

Most overhyped player in lsu history. Good 4 games against auburn and 3 scrubs. He actually played in the NFL you know. He was hot garbage.

I was at that one too. Faulk was electric that night. I think Collins was physically the best but unfortunately he will only be a footnote in LSU history. I think Clyde is the best overall; critical catches; spectacular moves; speed; a true game changer.

Don't forget Ali Broussard and Charles Alexander

I'm 87 punk...I've seen a lot of players and a lot of football...In high school, my helmet was made of leather and of course no sissy face masks.....

I've seen Billy Cannon mentioned several times. I don't consider him the best running back ever, but definitely the best football player ever at LSU. He won the Heismann on his all around play, great on defense too, not just as a running back.

Nah. Could have been but what Faulk did for the program combined with his career stats. No contest.

Hell, I loved all of them. Can't choose, Robiske lived next door to my uncle so I knew him personally. Anybody has film on all backs for LSU?

Cecil certainly had the potential to be the greatest RB that came out of LSU but we will never know. Really a damn shame we didn’t get to see a larger body of work. What he did in those 6 or so games was fun to watch.

Cecil’s limited time was the most impressive small sample but Faulk did it for four years.

He was certainly the moist production...primarily because of his number of years playing. I would say that LF7 (particularly his 2015 season) was the most dominate RB that I have seen at LSU.
This is not an argument that KF was the best. Numbers don't lie.

Cecil may have been the most talented running back to ever set foot on campus, but even that is debatable. I think Leonard was every bit as gifted as Cecil.
There is a difference between talent and greatness. Kevin was great at LSU.

Cecil Collins hands down !!!

that's the young'n' mentality, product of the instant gratification generation, probably why there's a five year waiting period for HoF eligibility on the pros
