I know there are few fans who do, the delusional ones. Just think, would you like Joe "I am the search" Alleva be the one to pick the next baseball coach at LSU.

We literally made the NCAA finals last year and finished #2 in the country. A year in which we lost several midweek games early on and dumbasses on here called for Paul’s head.

There is rarely a season LSU doesn't lose a midweek game to a smaller school. Combine it with the pitching staff currently and it's bound to happen again. Doesn't mean the season won't be a success.

This is really your question for them? I’d ask how they’re able to operate a phone or computer

Personally, I haven't seen one post this year saying this, let alone a thread. IMO, this thread is a bit suspect.

There's at least one thread and many posts today that suggest PM isn't a very good coach.

agreed. people creating problems that don't exist. last year there was some rumblings and PM squelched those by success in the series.

it seems as if many, if not most, posters on message board like inventing stuff w/o regard to facts and the truth. I guess our national politicians have taught us the value of that behavior. It truly is a shame

Well, let me say it.

He's horrible. And the biggest hoax there ever was. We could have hired 100 people that would have coached LSU as well or better.

LSU already had the resources. Already had the fan bas and facilities. Already had the prestige and tradition. Already had the recruiting pipelines.

So tell me, what exactly has he brought to the table. One serious run at a championship in 7 years?

Sorry, I'll take my chances with someone else.

In 5 years, when he still hasn't won it, what will you say then? or how about 10 years? What a joke!!

Very true and it's also true for just about every major baseball power. Baseball is a funny game. Regardless, this is the time of year that coaches, including PM, tinker and experiment. Add to that the number of excellent position players who are out of the lineup and no one should surprised.

Of course, none of this matters to members of the Rant, who regularly show their ignorance, flawed logic and have child like temper tantrums.

So it’s ok to keep losing midweek games and getting outpitched every year

Seeing as we have no Watson, Smith, Labas, Storz...along with a few others nursing minor injuries...and all will be back either soon or for meat of schedule, it’s hard to know what this team can do yet. I love the experience the new guys are getting.

I will happy to see how this year's teams develop over the course of 56 games. I do not expect a trip to Omaha unless our pitching can be improved but I trust Mainieri and Dunn to develop these young men and perhaps the next two seasons will be our chance to make another Omaha run.

If he keeps making it to the CWS final then yes. LSU is going to have to score more than 4 runs to win most games this year. It's hard to dick around the first 6 innings and win. At least this team doesn't give up.

we were literally in the CWS finals last season. Anyone who wants to fire the coach over a slow start with a rebuilt roster is drunk, hungover, or just plain stupid.

Hell no. Honestly, I believe CPM and Wade are the best coaches LSU has right now. Baseball is going to win another national championship soon. Maybe not this year but within 3 years I believe we will have another title and 2 CWS appearances.
