No one is making excuses. We played a tough game on the road, but lost.

14-41 in SEC play since 2022. This is an expected outcome under the current coach. Winning any SEC game would be unusual.

For people that can separate todays game from the big picture, I thought the team played hard and competed well given the circumstances.

this game didn’t/shouldn’t change anyone’s mind in McMahon. But he had the team ready.

Yep. End of the year will take care of itself. Sucks because we obviously win this game with dedan. Texas am is not that good. Way too sloppy with the ball. But thems the breaks

He's actually a good shooter clown. Shows you don't watch the team
Before today he had taken 8 shots in 13 games, all of which were beyond garbage time.

You have no idea if he is a good shooter or not, and if he is why doesn’t he play…like…at all?

He is probably one of the best 3 pt shooters on the team. Maybe he is a liability on defense so doesn't play much....who knows, but I guarantee you that coaches know more than you.

THIS! What kind of dipshit coach allows that dude to take that shot? I remember Dennis Rodman taking the game winner back in...

Y’all have some of the worst takes when it comes to LSU basketball.

Putting Mosley in for the final shot was a head scratcher. He hasn’t played a meaningful minute all season. There is a difference between someone that can shoot well in practice and being prepared to take a game winner in a high leverage spot.

Secondly, why the hell is our best shooter taking the ball out for the final play?

If McMahon had a reputation for winning these close games I wouldn’t be as hard on the execution of the finish.

I think Zipper may be a slightly better 3 point shooter, but judging from his shooting style, he needs a little more space to get the shot off, since he shoots it from a lower position. In the other hand, Mosley brings the ball high and releases it higher. His shots are going to be harder to block. Given the situation, it was more likely that Mosley would have a better look. My surprise was that McKinnon inbounded it, since that took him out of the equation to shoot it. It probably caused confusion for A&M too, since I get they talked about making sure he is covered. The confusion led to Mosley being open. Also I suspect Mosley is shooting well in under pressure too, but that begs the question about why he isn’t getting any PT.
