I don't give a shite if he adapts are not.

I don't think you have to adapt to be successful.

Les has a team with no identity, its not that the landscape has made his way impossible, we just don't do it well.

We have terrible fundamentals, if you are going to be a run first throw second team, at least run block well, have a fullback that can seal, have a QB that can get to the correct call.

If you are going to be a quick fast D, get quick fast smart guys, teach them where to be, teach them to be ferocious. Not the timid folks we put out there.

We are rudderless

I expected to get beat by AU, no real problem there, I just don't think anyone worth a penny will take that arse whipping we took

Seriously? No one is questioning the OPs moronic statement about coach tenures?

That's a long post, but what do you do, let a ship keep sinking because you're afraid to find a better captain?

It's kind of like, "well, it's bad now, but let's not risk things getting worse".

LSU was an elite program not too long ago, and definitely has the money, facilities and program to get back to that.

Last night's game was very disturbing. I don't care how good Auburn is... if you're getting embarrassed by your SEC opponents, something is terribly wrong.

With that said, I say give Miles this year and next year. But if these two years are .500 or worse seasons, and/or mixed with blow outs, adios.

And BTW, why give a coach a 7-year contract? Any coach?

It would not be surprising if the friendship between Les and Cam is struggling, given the team's offensive woes. I just wish Les would swallow his pride a bit and let Cam call the plays and truly be the OC. Rest assured there will be coaching staff changes, but likely not a new head coach.

One thing you fail to mention is neither Nebraska or Tennessee have anywhere near the in-state talent LSU does. Miles is a clown and always has been. Anyone who thinks differently is either blind or retarded.

Les Miles is and always has been a C+ coach propped up by very talented players. Now that we have young and less than very talented players, he is shown for what he is.

Perception is now being replaced with reality. If you are still drinking it, it’s time to remove the Kool-Aid jug from your lips. It’s time to snap out of it.

With that said, I expect 3 more years of Les before the higher ups nut up and do the dirty deed that needs to get done today.

Agree with this way of thinking...

I have both cursed and praised Les, but the game has passed him by. Unless they have superior talent (which they have had) Bama will soon see the effects on playing ground and pound ball. Georgia, Florida, and Arkansas are seeing the same thing. Les needs to get someone who really knows and is committed to the spread offense. If he cannot see this, then he has to go.

Something has to change, we get different OC but for the most part the result is the same. The one constant is Miles.

So you're saying we should keep Miles because it could get worse then being dominated in all phases by both SEC teams we've faced?

I agree, I have lost any hope that under Miles our offense will never improve. His philosophy is old school and his unwillingness to embrace at least a portion of the new philosophies his offenses will suck more times than not. He is a terrible QB recruiter and the fact he will not recruit pro style QBs which would fit his old school system much better than the ones he gets just tells me all I need to know

Would anyone have fired Mike Archer, if they knew how Curley Hallman would turn out. We were in the wilderness for the next 10 years, with only three winning seasons in 11 years.

Is this a serous question. Archer ran LSU into the ground. Suggesting that we should have kept him tells me a lot about how ignorant you are.

Les is our guy, nothing wrong here, there no one else out there, just hang in there and let the contract play itself out.

It just feels like Les has gone stale for the recruits, fans, and his team. Sometimes it's better to make a change a little quicker when the symptoms are this glaring. We need a injection of fresh blood and excitement.

This is how it starts and if we wait too long, we will join the ranks of Tenn. there are huge problems and always have been since Miles arrived in BR. I'm thankful for the 07 NC but that was by luck. I do believe after it was all said and done, LSU was the best team that year however Miles tried screwing that up like he has every other year. I often think what may have been if we had a great coach, esp in 2005,2006 and 20011. For some reason, ours thinks he is a world renowned offensive coordinator.

Les Miles always finds a way to screw things up. If it's not working, we will die trying to make it work. If it's working, we will change to something else.

We are LSU, we can open up the check book and get whomever we want. as of now, we aren't in The cellar yet. But we are at the steps. There are tons of qualified coaches out. There that would jump at the chance to come to LSU. At this moment it wouldn't be hard to stabilize things. If we wait 2 years, loose recruiting, a lot of the fan base, and the legacy, things will be a lot harder to bring back

And before anyone brings up 2011, tell me what everyone other than LSU fans remember? An LSU team who got lucky In Tuscaloosa and got beat down on national TV in the championship. That was one of the best teams LSU ever fielded but no one outside of BR will ever Know or remember that thanks to our idiot head coach.

Why is it our DL and OL recruits are not on the field contributing? I think Les kept Stud too long and now we have to start over with a new OL coach. The DL us getting pushed back every play so maybe we need a DL coach here to improve.! It worries me about these high caliber players playing like low caliber players. Games have always been won in the trenches.

How many coaches get to ride off into the sunset at their peak? Most coaches are either on their way up or down. Where do you honestly see Miles?

The west has changed since he got here. The wins won't come as easy from here on out.
