Does any db coach in america make more? If so, who is it?

Pruitt.

In 5 years he went from db coach at Bama to HC at UT because he made the smart decision to be somebody else's DC.

Raymond at UGA would make more.

From what it sounds like he wants a promotion in job title. Being the highest paid DB coach is irrelevant

Future DB coach Corey Raymond makes more

He deserves substantially more money than anyone in the country and an updated title

It's really indefensible that O lovers have the audacity to say Raymond, an alum, is replaceable when he has produced and built DBU

Who cares?

Someone is offering Raymond more money. If you want to keep Raymond, you have to get him a raise.

This isn't complicated.

Actually we don’t know this. Literally the only concrete information that we have is that he’s interviewing at UGA. No idea for what position or how much money

I don’t think it’s about his status among other DB coaches. He looks to be down the pecking order on our staff as far as pay goes and probably feels slighted because of it. We pay Orgeron a lowish salary so he can pay his assistants top dollar. Pay the man and get it over with.

Welcome to Business 101.

You want to be a successful company? You keep your employees happy, you provide your employees with incentives to continue to advance the company, have solid management and equip your employee with the proper tools to succeed.

You are either the entity doing the gobbling or being gobbled up if you aren't advancing technology that doesn't otherwise exist.

If a ship is being righted, you don't want to drop a rudder.

In 2014,

There were a few ahead of him. Talking about db position coaches. None were coordinators.

Dave Campo, Kansas, made 500k (that's more than Raymond currently makes now in 2018) I do believe he eventually became the DC though, so maybe they were prepping for that? Idk the situation.

Charlie Harbison (Auburn - safeties) - $475,000

Jimmy Lake (Washington) – $375,000

Corey Raymond (LSU) - $326,667

Again these are 2014 numbers. I can't find any 2018 ranks for position coaches.

I think in like 2016 Paveto made more than Raymond does currently. (470ish) (but that does not include bonuses)

I was completely sold on Raymond when he recruited and trained PP7, TM7, Mills, Collind, Mo, Brooks, Reid, Taylor, etc.

Built DBU? Give me a break.

So if Alabama offered Aranda 150K more how would you feel about paying him more? No DC in America makes more.

I'm all for keeping Corey and giving him a raise

That being said let's not act like LSU is doomed if he leaves. LSU made Corey Raymond not the other way around.

Tommie Robinson and Jerry Sullivan making more than him had been a problem imo
