I only pay $20 more than this .... on 2 TVs.
We have 9 TVs. Hulu offers HD with DVR functionality on all of them for ~$70/month less than our cable provider.

I pay $35 for YouTubeTV. I get all of the local channels in BR and all of the espn channels.

Get youtube TV...it has all the ESPNs, SEC Network, all major networks and other sports channels and it's $40 on the dot a month...plus limitless DVRing.

$15 a box was the last straw. $200 month they should give you at least 3 boxes

Work more hours and pay up...lol

Unless you watch the games illegally, you don't really save that much tbh. I've actually gone back to cable because they gave me a deal. If your bill is too high, i would call them and threaten to switch providers. See if they cut you a deal.Tell them how much cheaper you can get service with another company. Some companies will even pay to get you out of your current contract to go with them. Its all about leverage.

Currently paying $100 per month for direct tv now plus internet. 2-3 streams available at a timez. Get all the espns and sec network and fox sports. Ill prob download kodi or terrarium if i want to find more channels for free

The problem with hulu and YouTube tv is their channel selection atm. I get sports covered, but a lot of the other channels i wanted are not available. Depending on what you want, those may be good choices. But until they get more channels, i prefer paying a little more. And its only about another 20 bucks a month for what im looking for.

I used Sling for a couple of years, but it tended to flake out during the game.
I've never had it flake out, but it definitely runs behind the live broadcast a little (maybe like 30 seconds on average). Which is no big deal, unless you are also following on TD, or have a group text going doing the game. You'll be subject to spoilers a lot if you are continuously involved.
Also, LSU baseball games can be a PITA to find on sling as well.
Overall though, I am pretty satisfied with it.

My cable bill is out of control...

Comcast Xfinity: 140+ channels, 150 M Internet, 1 DVR. I supply the modem / router. I just renewed for 2 years at $130 / month.
We use the Xfinity streaming app on Roku's connected to other TV's in the house. Comcast, currently doesn't charge for these extra connections and using them doesn't count toward data usage.

Whose your internet service provider in the Baton Rouge area? Cox seems to know what’s going on and is charging darn near their entire bundle price for unlimited internet service.

DirecTV two year price guarantee for new subscribers. $76 /mo. NFL Sunday Ticket free for first year. I have the second or third tier package too - not the basic shite.
Before I did this my cable bill was over $200 for Cox and I got less.
Just have to figure out what to do in 24 months...

You ditch your traditional cable/dish to stream from the internet. Your cable provider and internet provider are the same company. It’s easy to predict the price adjustments. The house always wins. Enjoy this window of savings.
