You may think it’s funny, probably because you are “tired of negativity” but it’s a nonsensical comparison. You are comparing an “average” person to something (LSU football) that has demonstrated it can be exceptional. If someone that’s living the life you are describing only graduated from HS and was a C student but that was the best they could do and has a decent job at da plant or working as a supervisor at a warehouse that’s different than if that person was an exceptional student with the ability to get into the Ivy League but just decided to settle for working at the plant. Like Chuckie says to Will In Good Will Hunting.

LSU has certainly proven it can compete at the highest levels.
The two main things holding back the program both today and historically are political games with th governor/Board of Supervisors and fans who say things like the OP.
Do you know what the biggest difference between LSU and Alabama is? They don’t have anything there we don’t have here, both programs have similar fan bases/stadiums/facilities/money/recruiting bases. The difference is they demand excellence and we don’t. You will never, ever see a post like the OP’s on their board. That sentiment does not exist there.

So basically, just don't go to the games until the offense gets better?
Is that all we have to do? Because I'm thinking if that's the case, the VAST majority of LSU fans don't accept mediocrity - even during national championship seasons.
