For those that have made the trip to Alabama, where did you park?

I have been to a few LSU-Alabama basketball games and parking was fairly easy. Obviously for a football game with 100k it won’t be.
Just wondering where the best place to park is? Plan as of now is to go downtown and park at one of the baptist churches and mill about downtown for a few hours prior to kickoff.
Any better ideas?

Downtown, and take the shuttle bus back and forth to BDS.

Plenty of parking downtown if you get there early. Street parking and the big public deck should be free. You don’t have to stay downtown unless you want to. It’s not a bad walk to campus and if there are available shuttles, all the better.

Plenty houses around the stadium offer pay to park. Really close the bars and a quick walk to the stadium.

Plenty of parking on the street in nearby neighborhoods. Where I always park.

Capstone Parking Garage. Very easy to get in and out.

As with almost every event in any locale, this entirely depends on your specific plans, where you are staying, postgame plans, etc.
Like at LSU, parking advice would vary wildly if you were headed to Lauberge after the game, or New Orleans, or to downtown BR

Last time I parked around the city hall area/government plaza area for free, that’s where I’ll be parking again. Just walk down university ave where the strip is and take a right to the stadium. Easy

Gonna park in a parking deck at the hospital.
Shuttle to campus and tailgate near Denny Chimes.

We got a parking pass to the capstone parking deck close to the baseball and basketball facility.

We are spending the weekend in Hoover. So will have to hop on the interstate after the game

I always pay to park in the yard of one of the houses around 13th St. & 12th Ave. intersection. Easy in & out to I-359 after the game.

What’s early? Is 2ish too late?

Don’t know. Have always pulled in before noon. But 2019 was a 2:30 start and I wasn’t there before 10:00 or so. No issues.

That should be comparable then, thanks!

Never to early.

Fact! If it were solely up to me, I’d be there for 0900, but it’s not :)!
