so according to the rules it’s not targeting.

Intent has no bearing on targeting. It is not even mentioned in the rule.

However, a sportswriter can write or say whatever so why doesnt Rabalais or Alexander call up the SEC and demand a detailed explanation… instead we get some unknown dude from lafayette posing the question

Fat boy Rabalais shows up a lot on TBobs morning show. Need to corner his fat arse as he goes in the building.

Yep. Why Kelly didn’t is baffling. Absurd.

How was Kelly supposed to know it’s targeting if the damn gumps controlling what’s replayed on the stadium screen never replay the hit?

Has this been photoshopped??

No but 2 frames later you see his head wind up where you think it is. I saw a slow motion video from that angle. When he makes contact it's head to head.

The corrupt SEC is going to lie, cheat, and steal for the program whose alumni rule the conference. The time to pitch a fit was during the game when it happened. None of what the SEC said should shock anyone who has paid attention for the past 40 years. Corrupt to the core.

What kinds of leverage does the SEC have over schools? Must be pretty insane to tolerate the years of garbage.

The purpose of the targeting rule is to protect players from getting hurt. Daniels was hurt.

He was bitching to the ref. They told him it was being reviewed in Birmingham. I mean looking at it in Tuscalooser

The picture used in that article was a full step before he even hit JD. Of course it doesn’t look like targeting in that picture.
First contact was at the facemask/chin area with his helmet.

100% targeting and anyone who says otherwise is a lying piece of trash.

He should have made them escort him out of the stadium. That call made it obvious they weren’t going to let us win, no matter what, stand up for your star player and your team, and earn some respect. The midget on the other sideline would have popped a vein in his forehead in front of the cameras if the situation had been reversed. Our team are passive pussies bc their HC is.

That was a lie also. The SEC said earlier in the week they did NOT review it because their corrupt officiating crew did not call it targeting on the field. They just called it roughing the passer.

Source?

Like you, I have seen many games where a targeting review is called down from the ref in the press box or the conference review room.

I remember an LSU vs Alabama game in Tiger Stadium back in the early 2000's when Alabama complained to the SEC about a call (or no call) that benefited LSU. The SEC made a public apology to Alabama. They would NEVER do that for LSU.

Administration of a penalty (or not) does, in this league, depend upon the color of jersey you wear and the opponent.

All of the coaches not named Saban need to get the head of the officiating in a small room and beat the living shite out of him.
