For those of you flying Southwest from MSY to LAX for the UCLA game....

I just got notice that Southwest changed my DIRECT flights to and from Los Angeles to flights with not one but TWO stops. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F*CK??????
There is a note on the email that says "passengers who experience significant changes may be entitled to a full refund."
frick it. I'm out.

Tell them you want to cancel the flight and ask for a voucher.
Just saw they changed mine today too. But I am flying into John Wayne and get there 45 min earlier than before.

Newsflash: Your flight will be changed at least 3 more times between now and then.
If you're booking Southwest months in advance, this will happen no matter where you go. That's why it's best to book about 3-4 weeks in advance right now, if your schedule is tight.

Yep my original flight was direct from Atlanta. Now I have a layover in Denver. SWA as well.

Just look on their website and find a better flight. Call their customer service number and they will rebook you on that flight (no charge). Look for non-stop flights if you that is what you want. You can also book to Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, which is closer to Pasadena and the Rose Bowl. Again, no charge since they moved your flight. This is a good thing on Southwest.

This happened to me for a trip that I am taking next month. They change the flights but will still offer direct flights just at different times.
Go on the website, check your reservations, and you should be able to change flights with no issue. If there is an issue, you can do everything over the phone with a representative.

Southwest allowed me to change my flight to another time without incurring any additional cost. I switched it to another direct flight earlier in the day. Did you read the email you may have the same option.
