It’s a stupid tradition that needs to go.
It was cool at first when you had people that deserved it… a senior who’s been with it 4 years, etc.
It’s played out . Especially when they are rent a players now.

What made 7 and 18 special doesnt work with todays cfb culture. I was one of the last defenders of 7, and esp 18, but the fun is done. It wasnt handled well, its entirely lost its prestidge, and its time to let go. Its a shame really.
