Orgeron was given the opportunity to hand pick a coordinator and make him the richest OC in the country. O picked Canada. O is going to fire Canada and cost LSU a 7 figure buyout after 1 season.

Yes. That's 100% rumor.

Answer me one question bud: As an Arkansas fan are you happy that LSU hired Ed Orgeron? If you mean, do I think he will destroy your program and this will benefit us? The answer is yes. In reality of the game of football and seeing your frustrations with a program you love? Absolutely no. Everyone outside of LSU thinks it's a dumb hire and you guys (LSU) could've got better.

From an unbiased Arkansas fan.

There you go space clownboy. Only stupid O pumpers can’t see the embarrassment that is Alleva and Orgeron.

If you are being honest, can you look at what we got from Canada and know for sure that our offense will be good enough to be a competitor in the future? I think you are lying to yourself if the answer is yes.

That's not to say he did a poor job. I think he did a good job given the talent he inherited. But, I didn't see anything that makes me thing we'll have a tactical advantage moving forward. Maybe that's because of the QB and a better QB opens everything up. Maybe, what we see is what we get.

The jury was still out on Canada.

IF the admin can make a great OC hire all is well. I don't have faith that they can or will.

I’m this same thread there are jackasses saying that Canada is bad mouthing O at bars and we don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors.

Idgaf what’s going on behind closed doors m. I care about the THREE MILLION dollar buyout were about to spend to get rid of our best offensive mind because the Dline coach doesn’t like him.

I'm not worried about others opinion about mine. It was nice having a conversation with you and the others.

Been getting the kids and doing a few things. Will read thru the pages here in a bit.

Who hates Canada? He's a good coordinator, not elite but I'm fine with him staying or leaving.

The problem is this is a feeding frenzy of rumors where people are creating elaborate fantasies to hate someone. I've never seen anything like it here, it reminds of some of the recruiting board BS.

It's a prime example of the hive mind at work.

Orgeron is such a buffoon.

Yes. An obnoxious and stubborn buffoon whereas Miles was just an ignorant and stubborn buffoon. Remind me how we got to this point again? Oh, yeah...It reflects a complete lack of vision and leadership. Anyone who was OK with the Orgeron hire was either misguided, misinformed or willfully ignorant. I looked but could not find in the history of Dl football a situation in which a D line coach was promoted to permanent head coach. Maybe in the mind of Alleva and whoever else is running the asylum also known as LSU athletics Orgeron's interim stent was the best possible interview process negating the need to have a serious search. I think the bottom line with Jimbo involved too much money and Jimbo's understanding of how dysfunctional things are with the LSU hierarchy. Still stunning that LSU could not get him, but A&M could. What could that possibly mean?

We gave Farmer Fran a blank check and he came back with Canada. Now we’re going to have to pay a 7 figure buyout after 1 season because the OC is doing things that the Dline coach doesn’t like.

This is a very unfortunate situation, but it is all on Coach Orgeron. He personally picked Canada for his OC after meeting with him ONE time. If it's really true that Canada had issues at other schools that made him difficult to work with, then that would have come out during a proper vetting process.

Gd. I give up. This board is a shite pool until the kids are back in school. It is fkn hilarious. We are set to have a very good final ranking with a good showing in 2 days, and all these frickers can do is melt and set up a catastrophe syndrome. Jesus.

I don't know but from everything I have seen, I think we are going to hire him.

Chavis is a big name DC and probably the biggest name Arkansas could ever get. The problem is, like in your previous post, I think Arkansas could use a young, up and coming coach that is motivated and a great recruiter. Chavis offers nothing that you need in a DC other than the name...just my two cents.
