For the clowns trying to downplay Canada

Let’s say you’re right. Canada is nothing special, Canada’s offense was only 54th in the county, Canada is a big bully and hurt O’s feelings.
Who in the hell gave him a fully garunteed contract at 1.5 million a year? Who is responsible for putting LSU in a position to have to pay a seven figure buyout after 1 damn season?
Also why do the same excuses that O got not apply to Canada?
I heard the same thing from O pumpers all year long - O gets a pass because Danny was limited physically, Guice was hurt most of the year, we started 2 freshman on the Oline.
Why does this same reasoning not apply to the coach that actually calls plays?
We gave Farmer Fran a blank check and he came back with Canada. Now we’re going to have to pay a 7 figure buyout after 1 season because the OC is doing things that the Dline coach doesn’t like.

You aren't paying shite, but if you want to blame someone blame alleva. You think O negotiated that contract? Also, it is clear you are still in school and have never held a true professional job. That's not a knock on you, I hope you do well in life. You will learn one day that subordinates cannot be allowed to undermine a boss. This goes way beyond hurt feelings or offensive success. I didn't agree with the Canada hire because of his track record of personal issues with authority. I did hope for the best. Clearly it didn't work out, and when you make a mistake you should correct it immediately.
Oh yeah, O is the head coach, whether you like it or not. Not the DL coach. You can't be taken seriously when your agenda is so blatant

I found out this week that some fans are mental.
I had a melt yesterday about chavis and have not been thrilled since his name has came up.
Surprisingly, there are Arkansas fans who are defending his hire.
We're about to make him the highest paid defensive coordinator (Arkansas History) after he gave up 55 points to Wake Forest.
I had a melt on tRant and got into an argument on our board.
I know anything is better than last year, yet I'd take a new, less proven guy, who will be out on the field leading by example and motivating the kids, instead of a overweight has been.
I get the support your coaches and the fact that my voice won't change anything.
However, everyone is different and will always have their own opinion.
You and I believe in our way and others will believe and support their way.
I think what I'm getting at is, things suck donkey balls sometimes, at the end of the day make your voice heard (like you have with your post) and hopefully it infulences the people who view it differently.
FWIW, I believe your post is spot on and I hope Ed O doesn't do more damage to the program you love.
Btw sorry for flamming your recruiting board 2 days ago. I honestly didn't look where I was posting and saw your guys protection afterwards
If I comment on a team board I honestly mean well, even if some of you see me trolling from time to time against LSU on tRant, and I sincerely apologise.

Honestly, I’m kind of amazed at the persuasive power of Ponamsky and his minions. The dominant discourse now seems to be that Canada is horrible at his job and that he was a cancer in the program.
