He earned the right to do that even before the dagger on 3rd and 17. That was a fun game to watch!

An 8 yr old child, in today's world especially, thinking a prom queen's wave is classless? No 8 yr old that I know, anyway. As for his parents, they know their son's character better than anyone else & I seriously doubt a prom queen's wave would make his character a question mark. Especially in the context of that game. In 10 yrs from now no one will remember anything but the outcome and how spectacular JB played.
My whole point was in ten years...HE WILL!

As I asked the other day, is there ANY WAY you can go back to not posting? Or, just go back to complaining on the Help board, since no one will listen there anyway.
Why are you trolling me? That's what you need to focus on!

WOW! Jack, without saying one word you make a serious point. I can only say, we all have our character defects we need to work on or the chain link continues.

OK, early on, our players were faking. Texas sees that from all of their opponents, and they are rightfully pissed about it. Everyone does it, though, so you'd be crazy not to. A couple of times, after that, Texas fans started booing when a player was actually injured. As it became apparent, and the player was helped off the field, they applauded.
OK folks, your at the pearly gates and your answer is this?
"There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth in that place, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves thrown out."

Doesn’t Corso do it too?

It doesn't matter what our fans think of Joe. It certainly doesn't matter what Texas fans think of Joe. The only thing that matters is what the players on our team think of him...and they, to the man, will run through a wall for him. Until he does something that jeopardizes that, "Geaux Jeaux!"

One a side note, and I dont follow recruiting as closely as some, I didn't realize Joe and his family were so close to Tom Herman. This game had angles many of us weren't clued in to, besides the obvious passion of the two fan bases.
So the players (knowing each other), the players knowing the coaches, the fans reactions--all led the atmosphere of this game and subsequent reactions.
All I can say is I am very happy Joe Burrow is the QB of this team.

He will not do this again.
Looks like he was caught up in the moment.
But that is life as a football player, especially a qb.

So now you're judging Jimmy Burrow?
