To his credit, I think it pissed them off even more the way he waved just so nonchalantly straight-face without cussing or being a hothead. Just cool, calm, collected, subtle, F you sarcasm. It was glorious.

That's right, and herbstreitS yet again last night referred to him as BurrowS. I am so sick and tired of him mispronounceing his last name. He normally carries himself very professionally and gentlemanly, but he's still saying "BurrowS," which is disrespectful. McDonough always pronounces it correctly. It is not difficult.

Exactly!!!

I’ve seen players flip the bird to crowds, grab their crotches, etc.

Joe Cool was just that, calm, cool, and collected. With him standing there and simply waving with no expression, just pisses off the crowd more than anything.

If he would have flipped the bird, yelled shite at them, etc, they would have laughed because they know they got in his head (even tho they lost).

He killed them with kindness!!!

wow in a culture that is falling each year, we now find it acceptable to return bad behavior with bad distasteful behavior. The marker Mr. Burrow need to think before he acts:
Will I be proud of the choice 10 yrs from now?
If a fan who is eight years old have a reason to look up to me for this choice?
What kind of fans am I endorsing with this choice?
I just threw a 500 yard game, what more do I need to show God gratitude?

Yep, that was Cerebral Joe playing them like a puppet. It was good practice for the trash he'll be dealing with soon in Tuscaloosa.

Burrow torched them with 470 yards. He probably banged every dude in the crowds girlfriends later that night.

He had 471 yds. It's been so long man don't take away a yard of passing from a LSU qb!

If we wouldn't like it if an opposing QB did it we shouldn't celebrate it when ours does it.

But what I didn't like: We were an onside kick replay and an exhausted defense away from overtime or worse. Wait til the game is over.

Originally when I saw it, I thought, "O, now Joe... you really didn't have to go there"...

But after only mere seconds, the trash talk throughout the whole week and then the Texas players trolling with their "DBU" shirts, crept into my head...

And I changed my mind. No telling what all was yelled at JB during the game by those fans. Or even thrown at him. His response was alpha and hilarious.

Yeah, I have no idea how anyone could be offended by him simply waving.

It's ridiculous.

If opposing fans were throwing drinks and bottles possibly filled with piss at you and your teammates, you think it's ok to just totally ignore it and let it go? You find that behavior acceptable with no repercussions whatsoever?

I'd want a young fan who looked up to me to know that he or she should alway stand up for themself.

Are you the type who believes in only participation trophies for kids sports with no 1st, 2nd, 3rd place? Ugh.

I get that Texas has to move their student section during the stadium construction, but putting it behind the visitors bench is just a dumbass move.
