This has been an entire negative conversation between two negatigers. I can not believe something this negative would be allowed on this website.

I am honestly flustered. Before these last two pages, I would have had no idea that objectivity was something you two possessed. But I've read positive and negative with a balanced point of view. Still searching for words.

This turned out to be a better thread than most. We almost sounded intelligent. I agreed with 95% of what was said by everyone. A meaningful discourse, who could have conceived of that?

I agree. This is what I was looking for. If we could only get the biggest negative nancy's (ie: Books, Lacour, SlowFlowPro, DBG, LSURussian, etc.) to respond with a rational, well thought out, coherent post, then this thread may be epic.

That is the point. The "extreme" negative posters NEVER explain why they feel the team will be worse. They just make pointless, simpleminded, ignorant comments (ie: LSU sucks, Miles sucks, this coach is an idiot, etc.). I am not a negative or positive Tiger fan. I am a realist. I see the issues. I just think that they can be corrected. I am not the type that is just going to throw in the towel until the head coach is replaced.

Going 8-4 in the regular season doesn't consititute improvement. A regular season record of 9-3 isn't fantastic either, as last year demonstrated. Both of those results sound fairly mediocre.
