Our WRs are freaking LOADED. Better than last years. BOOK IT.

a little lean on the free safeties, Todd Harris is still not fully recovered from what I have read

We need another RT fast.

Our DE's are a little worrisome. Not a ton of experience there.

Harris will be ready when the season starts
Yeah I’m very worried about depth to win it all

Runningback committee will be huge this year

We only have 3 DT’s with any game experience. That’s not good. Losing Ferrell hurts.

We’re so damn talented it’s crazy

Todd Harris is still freaking hurt?

Eli Ricks starting over Flott and the other CBs?

The defensive front is a huge question mark. We will need alot from unproven players.

On the morning drive O mentioned Charles Turner and Dumervil working at RT with Deculus resting. He also listed Hill behind Dare at LT and Evans behind Hines at RG now.

Gilbert, by all indications, appears to be a big time matchup problem at TE. The one concern though is blocking at that spot. While LSU may not ask him to do a ton of it (certainly not as much as in the pre-2019 offense), a very underrated aspect of Moss last season was his blocking ability. He was key in many plays where CEH was able to spring for a big game. I would think Tory Carter would be just fine as a blocker, but LSU obviously can't be predictable in their line ups. One thing we did see glimpses of his that Carter seems to have pretty good hands. He made a tremendous leaping catch for a TD (that got called back) vs. Miss. St. I'm not saying you waste a talent like Gilbert by sitting him on the bench. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Carter get some significant snaps.
I'm still surprised Stevens is a safety. He is a well-known liability in coverage and best attributes are those more akin to a LB. He might be LSU's best tackler. Size-wise he is as big as Queen (maybe bigger). He seems like his future in the NFL would be at LB. Lining him up next to Cox and Clark could really give LSU a formidable trio. Or, just having him on the field with Cox could make LSU a very good coverage unit.
On the OL LSU should be very good at running between the tackles. The downside is there appears to be very little depth (at least right now) behind the starters. Last season LSU had the luxury of Ingram as a swing player and could kick Magee to different spots if need be without a problem. That doesn't look to be there now.

Hoping by the Florida game Ojulari/Gaye and Webb/Sampah take some starting spots

It’s very likely we will be running with 2LBs (Clark/Cox) and Stevens roaming in the box the majority of the time.

I like having potentially one of the smartest players at Center.

I think you may see us run more 4-2-5 with Stevens being a third LB when the situation calls for it.

I think our D allows fewer PPG than last yr.(Not by a lot)
I also think we are still going to be capable of outscoring everyone on our schedule. If our O-Line holds up well, we have a good chance to be undefeated again this year.
