I want to say it was before that ... I remember where my seats were at that time and we were right under where the Eagle flew from ... we moved to our current seats in 2001.

Thanks anyway.

Allegedly the Bama/LSU flyover guys got in trouble for flying too low.

It wasn't a bomber, it's some sort of transport plane. There was a story behind it but I forgot what it is now.

I definitely buy that, the fricking -135 was barely 100 feet over the construction crane behind the stadium. I also suspect that 3/4s across the stadium, the fighters hit the afterburners, so they probably got hit by that too.

The coolest flyover I have ever seen was for a Chiefs game a couple of years ago when they used the Stealth Bomber. That was kickass.

I would be in awe over one of thoses.

That is 2.5 billion in military hardware flying over your head.

Prob the only things more expensive in the military inventory are the nuclear subs and aircraft carriers...and I am not 100% on the subs being that costly.

EDIT: Just checked that...even a nuclear sub is cheaper. The only thing more expensive than a B-2 is a fricking aircraft supercarrier.

They are based out of Whiteman AFB in Missouri and my bet is that the game just happen to coincide with one the B-2 missions that was ending. I doubt they would scramble one of those bad boys just for a joy ride over Arrowhead.

Well all flyovers aren't done just for the hell of it.

They are attachments to standard training missions.

B-2 pilots need stick time just like everyone else.

The pilots do have to have so much air time each month, so they do have to fly them (B-2s) every once in a while.
