I said it in another thread, but that they can get so many top tier guys on in state tuition is a huge advantage. We have to go out of state for our top pitchers more often than not. The state just doesn't produce enough.
They still recruit out of state, but it's a lot easier when you can get really top tier guys on the cheap.
Which makes it all the more amazing that neither UF nor FSU has won a CWS.
