Instead of playing straight up defense, JJ calls for the shift, and keeps LSU from an easy double play and the runner goes to 3rd, and of course scores on a fly ball. All because of the lousy shift, which has hurt LSU all year as much as anything. JJ needs to throw the analytics in the trash going forward.
