8 and 9 hole hitters go back to back

9 hole hitter gets his second one on an 0-2 pitch

Guidry pitching about as well as anyone can expect today. Wish we had gotten this from him more often.

Maybe he can try a move to 2B in the offseason.

I should have worded it better. We’ve definitely had some bad luck, as every team does. I just wonder if we sometimes over exaggerate how much bad luck we’ve had because it gets lumped in actual bad play
if you want to shite on our fielding, sure. It's the worst in the SEC. But we're like 6th in runs scored and middle of the conference in BA. Our hitting has improved a lot over the course of the season. Our pitching is the worst in the SEC, largely due to injuries and guys having to pitch in spots they wouldn't have had to otherwise.

We suck at fielding the ball. Just say that instead of using hyperbole to act like we suck in every aspect of the game.

Yeah, didn’t really understand that.

But for all the people coming out of the woodwork to shite on Guidry now, frick off. He was throwing very well until this inning. Is it that hard to acknowledge that?

Well, even when he’s doing ok, it’s a risk letting him go through an order multiple times. He just doesn’t have that kind of stuff. He always gets touched the 2nd time through, and that’s when he’s throwing strikes and pitching under control.

He crushed one and its 0-2 and you give up a homer. Unacceptable. Pitch call and execution. Perfect example of why our record is what it is.

Remember last season when Guidry was preparing to become a starter. Than god that didn’t come to fruition

Is Guidry coming back? I can't imagine another year of him wearing number 8.
