Is Guidry coming back? I can't imagine another year of him wearing number 8.

Hate that you can offer at a pitch and get hit only because you offered at the pitch. Should be ruled the same way as leaning into it.

I just wonder if we sometimes over exaggerate how much bad luck we’ve had because it gets lumped in actual bad play.

I think we have had bad play; I think that would have put us in a worse position than we hoped. I also think we've had bad luck, which compounded the bad outcomes of games and produced the worst SEC record in the 30-game SEC era.

I also think that bad luck puts your team in a position to make more bad plays and, in this case, put out more pitchers for more innings that make bad pitches.

But for all the people coming out of the woodwork to shite on Guidry now, frick off. He was throwing very well until this inning. Is it that hard to acknowledge that?

I’m with you. He was pretty terrible his previous 3 or 4 outings. He started off looking good today and wasn’t handing out walks or hitting anyone. But just like with Cowan, if you hang a pitch, they are going to smash it. And he’s always going to at some point.

If he wants to continue pitching, then he needs to leave and go to one of the other LA schools where he can get more innings. He won’t here next year.

Remember last season when Guidry was preparing to become a starter. Than god that didn’t come to fruition

I'm convinced that the injury affected him permanently. He has lost velocity on his fastball.

Meh, it's baseball, and you take every advantage you can.
