The Advocate - It’s an early test for LSU’s projected corners Duce Chestnut and Zy Alexander. Transfer Keon Coleman is a 6’4” junior who was brought in to complement the 6’7” deep threat Johnny Wilson. They have size, speed and a quarterback who throws a great deep ball.

Staff predictions from The Advocate all predicted a close game, except for Reed Darcy who predicted LSU 42 Fla State 35. Rabalais predicted it will be very close game, and is not sure if LSU has arrived yet. Rabalais is obviously wrong, but that’s never stopped him from speaking negatively about LSU before. Kelly has LSU ready , that’s all one needs to know.

Don’t know why this is getting downvoted lol. Evan Stewart is going to be an absolute monster in Bobby petrino’s scheme. He’s def gonna be the most complete wideout in terms of speed, route running and yac that we see. They also gotta young wideout named Noah Thomas who also looks like a stud along wit anias smith and Muhammad their loaded at wideout

I get the hype around FSUs WRs. They’re good. LSU has what I believe to be a better, deeper WR room. That’s who our DBs have been practicing against all spring and summer. Let’s have some faith that they’ll be ready.

Ran into that asshat Aslan from Wake Up Warchant last night. All he could say "i cant believe yall didnt go after Coleman in the portal..Mel Kiper's 14th rated NFL prospect.. blah blah blah"

Im like dude we like our WRs. Id take Aaron Anderson (& what we can do for us in the return game) all day long over KC.

Hope BTJ breaks one off tonight

We did though, as far as I understood. FSU won out.

Gotta win at the los!! This is exactly what BK is building. We'll see how much they've progressed. If we win the los on both sides, a big win. Got to protect the secondary with a push up front and HP cleaning up. I agree with BK when he said that LSU is a year away but we're there now and will beat FS by 13.

I believe that FSU will test our safeties on first play from scrimmage. They will try to score real fast to test them. I just hope they are able to disguise a coverage and pick it off. GEAUX TIGERS

Kelly pointed to LSU’s Oline as having improved the most on the team from last year. Unlike the BS from O’s press conferences, Kelly is open and honest.

This didnt age very well at all. They got bullied.
I noticed also that it seems like pass protection the OL stepped back to far to form the pocket. It seemed the pocket was wrapped around JD instantly.
For a QB who struggles with dropping his eyes and not good at hitting timing routes consistently, this isnt good.
