You clearly underestimate the influence of wealthy boosters. Jimbo may not have been the best hire but his track record was a get out of jail free card for Woodward. Ironically, the Fisher hire was pretty much the opposite of the Orgeron hire. Woodward will never get the blame for hiring Jimbo and Alleva will never get the credit for hiring O.

That is just Karma.... for selling out to a crab leg steeling rapist to get a quick NC and Heisman.

Woodward did what his bosses told him to do. They said money is no object and he said “OK”

Florida State is on the verge of dropping into the Sun Belt Conference.

There’s no buck to pass.
If your boss says hire Jimbo Fisher and pay whatever amount of money it takes, then that’s the result you get.
A&M makes a point of how rich they supposedly are. This was an intentional flex.

How would you feel for your wife to be fricking the players under your purview.

Next year they open with an unannounced conference opponent, likely Miami on Labor Day.
I thought I saw on Twitter that they open with Notre Dame next year. If so, they're dropping 7 openers in a row.

Where is Jameis when Free Seafood U needs him?

Your an absolute fool if you believe that. I know first hand Woodward was actually against the hire and the absurd contract. No AD would sign off on that contract. That’s why Aggie is Aggie.
They felt like it would be a WIN to hire Jimbo after LSU couldn’t......and they opened the pocket books to make it happen. All they wanted was a NC Head Coach.........well guess what........
Kansas has one of those too.....

Napier to FSU after he gets the Cajuns to a decent bowl game this year.

How many bowl games will there be this season, anyway?
Can't have the usual slate of 40+.
