That’s the real issue. We scheduled soft and didn’t use the schedule to learn about any one. First time they got in a tight spot against a quality opponent we flopped.

Real coaching begins now. It’s still early but to start SEC play and not really be settled on much of anything is a little unsettling. Only sure thing is the Friday night guy, 1B and LF/ lead off. The rest is take it or leave it any given day.

We changed up the lineup pretty consistently in 2023 as well. Love it or hate it Jay seems like he will always do it.

Time to calm down and let the season play out. We got humbled a bit, so, let's just act humble and see how things play out.

LSU baseball is not going to steamroll its way to a National Championship this season. It's going to be harder than that. That's what she said.

I’ll give you Dickinson but Milam isn’t an SEC SS. He made some great plays at SS but his bat is average. The fact that JJ can recruit so well and not get an SEC SS on campus is troubling.

Dickinson is solid at 2B and at the plate.

But
3B….who’s our guy?
RF…who’s our guy?
CF…who’s our guy?
Saturday starter….
Sunday Starter…
Catcher…?
Make a damn decision…hard to perform when you can’t settle in as a player.
We’re not ready for the tight spot yet and that primarily bc we never got tested until SEC play. Not sure if that’s JJ or admin on schedule but we better figure it out fast.

It's hard to win on the road. I really don't know why. It not like it's football with 80,000 to 100,000 people screaming at the top of their lungs. Playing in front of 5,000 must be terrifying.

Almost all teams we’ve played with a pulse beat up most of our pitchers. Look at the Texas tournament and Mizzou last week.

wtf lol. Dude is batting .350 with an OPS of over 1.000. He is without a doubt an above average bat.

Unfamilar sites, batters eye, field dimensions, orientation to the sun, among others. Also, no one should be surprised we lost the first sec road series. Go check lsu’s record in first road sec series over the last decade plus, hint, its not great, theres a reason
