He only had 21 AB and 25 PAs. Not sure how you can really form any type of judgement on such a small sample size as a freshman.
In those he had 2 homers and a double, so there is something in there to like.

1B Yamin Serna (may get some reps here) or both could be at C) Braun would not rule out possibly Jake Brown depending on how OF shakes out 2B Dardar Reaves SS Milam (can't afford injury here) maybe Guidry is your emergency SS
I just thought you were stupid until I read maybe Gavin Guidry (who hasn’t played infield competitively in over 2.5 years), is your emergency short stop.
Then I realized you’re a troll.

Frankly I am embarrassed that this narrative is even being floated. Unless there is intense body transformation I am just not sure what is going on here. The Pearson name must hold a ton of weight in BR cause CJJ has drank the koolaid.

I don’t want to trash a kid, but am I just not seeing what the hype is with this guy?
I know he’s supposed to be a hitter, and maybe he will be great, but I just haven’t seen anything from this year.
What am I missing, or what don’t I know?
Well, he was a freshman who Johnson went to a lot because he had no other RH pinch hitters. Though yes, it is very clear that they also think he has a high upside going forward. Josh Jordan was also just raving about him in an interview with John Eads. Saying some of the batting practices he had in Omaha had his jaw dropping.
But also could afford to lose 20lbs. Would like to see him take that seriously this offseason and come in and compete at 3B/1B and DH.

Thought the same thing Jay obviously had confidence in him in some the spots he put him in to pinch hit. I thought he must be doing something great during batting practice. He did strike out but worked the count so it just wasn't bad at bats.

It would be wise for #0 to start taking some reps at 1B.
He has the stick and will start the season behind the dish.
Mark it down now. If Serna gets to campus, he will be your primary Catcher by middle of conference play.

I hear it's a quadruple amputee...goes by the name Matt...

One of my buddies literally said this last night. Said he thought Arrambide would end up at 1b or DH. My buddy was a catcher and made it to AAA so he knows a thing or two…doesn’t like his receiving at all.

only because he is more athletic than Serna. Arrambide was just as good defensively as Hernandez that back half of the season.

Simpson primarily plays third.

He formally removed himself from the draft. Where else would he go?

Jake Brown could play first base. He's tall and quick reflexes! He'd do well at 1st!!

He already did have a body transformation from the fall to the spring. JJ complimented him on the work he did to lose weight over the break. It’s reasonable to believe that he will continue in that direction.

Jacob Pearson was drafted in the 3rd round and made it to AAA. Josh is a career .263 hitter with 27 HR’s and 129 rbi. John batted 4 points lower than Arrambide with 40 less at bats, and JJ believes Arrambide will be the best player in the program. Anyways, the Pearsons seem to have produced better baseball players than most families ever will.

Arnold Shakeaux: I'll have "Female Body Parts" for $1000 Alex..........
Alex: Name a female body part and wishful destination that 75% of the Tiger Rant have never been to.
Arnolod Shakeaux: What is FIRST BASE.
Alex: Correct. Pick again.

I have a lot of questions about Arambide as catcher. I think Jay does, too. I think Arambide moves to the RF. Brown and Curiel are the other two. Yamin or a new guy will play catcher.

Thank you for the background Mr Pearson.

I don’t get the joke. I wrote basic information that is available to everyone on the internet.

Arrambide improved as much as any catcher we've seen here defensively over the course of the season. He obviously worked very hard at it and the natural talent is already there. With another off-season to go, I think you're the only person still questioning Arrambide

You don't move the best rightfielder in the country to 1B!
