Does Kelly still get to use the private jet if let go?

Kiffin's remaining schedule is soft...Ole Miss should cruise to the playoffs...no team with a coaching opening is going to wait for him given the early signing period...I think Kiffin is off the table, barring some monumental collapse by Ole Miss.

Hard to see a path forward from a business standpoint, honestly. Which sucker donors will pony up another $18 mil to refill the NIL cupboard? Who will be the new QB? At the very least you need to fire and buy out the OC and pay big bucks for a new one. Who would want that job? How can CBK expect the bean counters to give him millions more to ‘rebuild’ again after this display? This was his all in, best shot season. I just don’t see a purpose in stretching it out longer than necessary. It’s clearly not happening with this guy. Strange position to be in.

Aren't the Asst Coaches a one time hit ? I still say put $ 20 million buyout in front of Kelly and make him turn it down

If you keep Kelly you have to fire multiple coaches and completely rebuild the offense. It’s going to cost tens of millions. Pick your poison.

Chief Cluckster himself spinning the wheels to get TD up to its peak glory when an LSU head football coach search is under way

it's going to cost us tens of million of dollars if we fire him now or next year...it will be less if we wait a year, but we will certainly make less revenue if we keep BK and the fan base has checked out...

I think he could have survived 9-3 with a loss to bama. 7-5 no shot

I’m not sure if we get 7 wins

BK buyout will be financed and increased ticket/parking prices will pay for it.

Assuming he and his staff cost $20 million per year...will LSU lose $20 million next year in lost ticket sales, parking sales, merchandise sales, concession sales, donations, etc if he is kept around?

That’s the whole cost/benefit analysis in a nutshell.

This team should be able to go thru the motions and beat W Kentucky, if Kelly didn’t completely lose them tonight. I can’t swear he didn’t.

If BK is given another year, will a top notch OC and offensive staff want to come here knowing how hot BK's seat is?

Not even joking... Petrino will be available and would absolutely take a year's pay at SEC coordinator salary without blinking

53.29m to get rid of Kelly + 20m to get rid of his staff....

Then hire more at another 50+ million

This doesn't sound like LSU

You’re overlooking one factor: Lane Kiffin being Lane Kiffin.

I could see us only beating WK.
With the amount of hate by that time and the heat in this building, how could you keep BK. You will start to see all the loss revenue that has been alluded too.
I would think you have to bite the bullet at that time.
Who is gonna want to come and work for BK at that point.
I hope we take a look at Memphis HC. Take a different route of hiring big name head coaches or then just go hire a NFL guy that doesn’t need to have a coordinator on one side of the ball.
The longer you wait to fire him the worst high school recruiting is gonna get. The kids are spoken for now almost a year or two in advance especially QBs
