Steele will definitely throw some wrinkles and make him a lot more uncomfortable this week.

the key is running the ball. IF LSU can run the ball he will be fine.

Steele was able to confuse Burrow a bit last year , well as much as anyone did. I’d expect TJ to throw a few picks. Hopefully though he gets enough TD’s to overcome.

True, but Auburn doesn’t have near the talent they had last yeat. They have looked lost in the games I’ve seen this year.

Auburn had a dominant D line that allowed them to control the LoS with 3 and drop 8 in coverage. I don't think they're that good this year.

Ed said Brennan hasn't practiced this week and he doesn't expect him to play.

It helps that they had one of the best defensive lines I've ever seen last year.

If we have the same philosophy as last week (balance), then we will be just fine

Just hope the field is dry after Zeta makes its way through Bama! There were some miscues with RPO and center exchanges last week that LSU recovered.

Could holding Brennan out and letting him focus on Bama be a benefit from a preparation standpoint? Let Finley buy Brennan time to not only recover, but also to focus on just Bama prep like it was a bowl game with a month with whatever analyst owns the Bama prep.

You mean the two plays on the goaline where the center was being smashed before he could snap the ball??

Yea that wasn't the fault of TJ or the center

They didn't really control the LOS so to speak. Dropping 8 helped control the LSU passing game, but it allowed the LSU running game to gash them once LSU committed to the run more in the 2nd half.

I doubt AU drops 8 much this game. The KNOW LSU wants to run the football early and often. USC never stopped the LSU run game, which made TJ's job easier. I suspect, at least early on, AU is going to sell out to stop LSU's rushing attack and allow TJ to try to beat them through the air...if he can.

AU's run defense hasn't been great this year (only giving up 0.1 yard less per attempt than LSU). If LSU can run the ball Finley should be fine.
