That's ridiculous, Joe only did what he thought was right for LSU. He wasn't acting along... I guess we need to ban the boosters of TAF... The president of the university and everyone else who was trying to do what was right in their eyes for the program ...

This is going to look like a lynch mob ....

Come on people we don't want look like Missouri of the south do we ???

Dizz hit the nail on the head in an above post...Alleva showed no leadership. It's as if Alleva tossed a coin last night to make his decision.

Yep. His lack of leadership deserves termination. Pawl needs to be fired too, though.

How dare Alleva allow LSU to slowly decline over the last 4 years. Fire him now. I'm so tired of seeing Alleva's same tired offense year in and year out.

I agree Alleva will be made the scapegoat and I am not unhappy about that. I'm still burned up with his letter threatening students after the"frick you Saban" chants at last years bama game.

However, whether he deserves to be or not depends on who leaked that info/rumor to Rabalais.

The whole key to Watergate was: "What did the president know and when did he know it?"

The whole key to Miles-gate is: "What did Rabalais know and from whom did he know it?"

could care less if Alleva stays or gets fired. I'm just wondering what Alleva's part was in the team not showing up for 3 of the November games.

I'd say ole Miss. Players were not focused at all. Coincidence that the firing leaked? That winning the next two won't save his job?

You don't think players heard everyone talking about it? You don't think they were getting calls and texts from friends and family? You don't think the AD not standing behind your coach gets in your head?

There was so much noise, he could of squashed it. frick him, frick him for screwing with contracts, frick him for screwing with recruiting.

IMHO the mistake people are making is to expect academicians to show Leadership when nothing in their entire professional lives have required them to possess that attribute.

How can anybody expect Joe Alleva to show Leadership when he probably can't even tell you what the word means?

Finebaum also ripped Alleva's press conference speech as being cold & impersonal. That picture of Alleva standing off to the side while ClM talked spoke volumes about how unhappy he was. He looked pissed off to the max.

Paul hates Les and was sure he'd be fired.

I think he's just mad at Alleva for making him looks foolish.

Finebaum calling for Alleva's head by Rougarou13 On sportscenter right now. Can't believe I'm agreeing with Pawl right now.

Why? Aleva said he'd make a statement after the season. He did. He allowed Miles to keep his job. Now Georgia on the other hand, actually fired their "successful" coach.

Mostly tongue in cheek but Finebaum is a jerk.
