On sportscenter right now. Can't believe I'm agreeing with Pawl right now.

Take the head when there are no balls.

I don't know, but I'm glad they're using Alleva as the fall guy on this one.

Finebaum is a joke. Why does the SEC network tolerate this four eyed, taxi door ears, bald headed doing work for them?

I could care less if Alleva stays or gets fired. I'm just wondering what Alleva's part was in the team not showing up for 3 of the November games.

It wasn't Alleva. He said from the start he wouldn't address it until the season is over. This is on the big money TAF members and BoS members that tried to force his hand with going public before the Ole Miss game.

Rightfully so. Never seen such a sideshow of a non-firing like this in college sports. Alleva embarrassed LSU.

Fire the pos.

A simple statement from him when all this started would have been sufficient if he had no intention of firing Miles.

It's naive to think they weren't trying to get rid of Miles and it backfired.

This is true! The frickin media played up the Miles' card. Got everyone all riled up and that was pretty much a wrap. Pisses you off that these POS all of sudden feel Miles is a pretty good darn coach that is being treated horribly by LSU when they ridicule the frick out of him any other day.

Alleva showed no leadership during this whole thing. Either he handled it poorly by not making a statement or TAF is leading him around on a leash.

How, again does this happen? Why go through all of this nonsense if they are just going to keep a guy whose offense could not run its way out of a wet paper bag?

Who is in charge of the athletic department. What a joke it is becoming. Miles is never going to win the West CUZ he cannot beat Saban.

It was Alleva. He sat back on his haunches and watched the national media turn us into the laughing stock of November...and did NOTHING as far as damage control. All he had to do was take his pussy arse up there and reiterate that they would not make a decision until after the season. Instead he let everyone in the country think the decision was already made and that they were hanging Les out to dry.

Whether it was true or not, he should have done something, ANYTHING, to save the face of LSU.

Joe Alleva has dragged LSU thru the gutter with this ridiculous fire Les crap. It got to the point where King Alexander and the Governor had to weigh in. Alleva had his leash yanked and is going to have a hard time keeping his job now.

LSU was being ridiculed nationally and made to look foolish for this debacle and it would have been much worse had Alleva not been stopped. As it is there are still consequences in recruiting and staff replacement.

Yet another smooth move by Joe Alleva. The same guy who pulled schollies and ran off the LaCrosse players at Duke based on the lies of a prostitute. The kids were cleared of any wrong doing and the prostitute was shown to be a liar.
In this case Alleva treats Miles with gross disrespect and embarrassed LSU. Beyond poor judgment. For anyone who thinks that Alleva's post game announcement was on his own accord just keep on dreaming. Alleva had his hand slapped and now needs a boot in the arse. Pathetic and unprofessional.
