Fehoko talks about rushing 3 and dropping 8 on pass D. Could be a long day for Tua if LSU's 3-man rush works consistently against Bama's O-Line. Should be some picks.

At about 3:40 on the video:

We couldn’t get any pressure at all on Florida with a 4 man rush. Don’t see how the hell 3 against Bama would work

Not sure the 3-man rush needs to do more than contain Tua for 2 or 3 seconds - by then Tua will need to get rid of the ball or risk a sack.

Let the LSU secondary do the heavy lifting. Probably the best secondary in college football.

Crazy to think that you can have 2 juniors declare early for the draft and whiff on your biggest recruiting target and you still have the best secondary in the country.

Maybe he’s saying this on purpose?

Knowing about a game plan and stopping it are 2 different things.

Yeah. Could be some Aranda-Propaganda.

If we just rush 3 against that OL, he'll have 5+ seconds to throw the ball.

And there is no secondary on the planet that can maintain coverage for that long consistently.

Did he really though?

Just said it’s important for our 3 D-linemen to get pressure on Tua, which would give them the opportunity to drop 8 if necessary.

He wasn’t necessarily talking about the game plan. He was asked about the self scouting that takes place during the bye week and if there were any areas that he thought the DL could improve on.

if you remember we ran that defense successfully vs Georgia.

but we didn't do it the whole game.

I believe aranda will throw multiple looks, and he will adjust.

Yeah, and Tua is better, their WRs are better, and their OL is better.

UGA also missed a couple deep balls that were wide open that would've changed the game. Tua isn't missing those.

I agree with this, I just hope we don't rush 3 very often.

We've done better since then with sending 3 and 4. Do you watch the games?

Tua is a great QB, but he doesn't have eyes in the back of his head. He's got a clock in his head. He gets rid of it on the 3-count, or he risks a blind-side sack.

I doubt they'll let Tua do much scrambling with that knee. AND, Hurts is fresh off a surgery.

If we drop 8 in coverage then Tua will have 300+ yards rushing.

OR, He'll throw for 47% with 2 picks like the last 70% QB the LSU secondary faced.
