I’ve been to two national championships but my best was the 2003 victory over Georgia. The win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa last year is a close second. And another special one was the victory over Florida State to cinch the Orange Bowl back in the 1980’s.

Yeah as a young kid that fsu orange bowl clinch was awesome. All those oranges raining down on the field.

Was at the Superdome when we blasted Wichita State to go the the Final Four in 81, probably tops for me along with beating Tennessee in the 2001 SECCG in Atlanta because I think that ushered in the golden age of LSU football.

2006 LSU vs Texas AM in Jacksonville when all the gator fans started cheering against us and we won on buzzer beater.

11/6/82 - LSU @ Alabama. The Crimson Tide didn't score a first down the entire first half. We caused 8 fumbles and beat them 20-10. Bear Bryant retired and passed away several months later. As a fan in the stands, it was a memory I will never forget.
In basketball, it was the game in the Superdome 1981 which catapulted us to the final four in Philadelphia. I was also at the game against Indiana in Philly which we lost. The team played great the first half but looked like the Invasion of the Body Snatchers the second half.
ETA: Runner-up for football was the Fiesta Bowl against UCF which was Joe's coming out party. Great game against a team/fans who knew THEY were going to beat us!

2003 Georgia game. Came from California with a friend in tow so he could experience his first LSU game. After the game his response "I came to see a football game, I left having had a religious experience."

Basketball - LSU vs #10 Marquette with Jae Crowder
Football - Oregon St @ LSU - rain game. Not a particularly good game, but my first as a student, and the rain delay was very entertaining

Football - Attending all 3 recent football championship game wins are obviously at the top. Being at all 5 SEC championship game wins in Atlanta was great also. Way too many regular season games to mention as well.
Baseball - 2009 CWS championship series was my only Omaha trip & it was incredible. 2008 (UC-Irvine) & 2009 (Rice) super regionals were my favorite home games.
Basketball - 2006 Elite Eight game vs. Texas was really fun in person. I went to the Final Four game also, but that obviously didn't turn out too well. Every game I got to see Shaq or Chris Jackson play in person were my favorite regular season games.

81 Regional Final in the Dome when the Tigers beat Wichita State to go to Final 4 and in the Dome last year to see LSU stomp Clemson with my son.
