quote:didnt catch a game, but listened to the saban press conference when he announced he was leaving. i was in rochester, ny at the time.
So I was wondering, what is the farthest place you or a family member caught an LSU game on WWL Radio?

In September 2003, we were camping in Yellowstone NP (nw Wyoming), and I spent the evening listening to the LSU-Arizona beatdown in our car at the campsite...

St. Louis MO - 1962/63 - reception was very spotty, but improved as I drove over a railroad track.
Afterwards, I would stop on the railroad track and we would watch out for oncoming trains.

Lost it just before I got to stillwater, Minnesota. Listening to saints-hmm someone. It was in 05 so not memorable but they did win that one.

I listened to it all the time when I lived in Columbia SC. n vacation in orlando
and while driving around Pennsylvania. Once or twice I got it near New York City for a few minutes but there is a strong station locally at 880 that bleeds into it

Jeaux, I've found that once you get on I-78 by Newark Airport you can generally get WWL....

I have it as a preset on my radio in Virginia Beach. Get it about 75% of the time at night. Didn't need it for games this year, all LSU games have been on TV or ESPN3.
