I sat next to a guy in Alex Box one time that told me he used to listen to in in New Jersey all the time.

A guy that I served with on Spruance class destroyer swore up and down he could pick it up in the middle of the Med from time to time. No lie.

I listened to the postgame show after the ole miss game last year while in oxford. I don't think I'll ever forget that feeling of disbelief.

Miami,FL. Actually pretty good reception. No chance at tv coverage back in 2000, so a six pack of red stripe and Biscayne Bay had to do!

After the sun goes down the Big 870 is a clear channel station--no other US radio station is on 870 at night.

I dont know about farthest, however as soon as the sun goes down and until it comes back up, WWL 870 comes in loud and clear in Atlanta. (BTW during the same time of darkness, all Atlanta sports radio stations fade away)
