Except our use of it sort of coincided with the silly song’s release.
I’m cool with it as the midfield logo, but you can’t pretend there is any history of an ‘eye’ associated with any of our stuff or logos before that.

It's the coolest midfield logo in CFB, so that's going to be a no for me.
As per the song. I always thought of it as an amusing bit of irony that a song from Rocky III was adopted as a fight song whereas the composer of the original Rocky theme song, "gonna fly now" is an LSU graduate.
