Cullotta explained it on whiskey and wine as bluntly as he could. They tried to throw him a screen against Florida and he ran the wrong play and stayed in to block and almost got joe killed. Joe pointed to the sideline and pretty much said “get him the frick out of here”. If you screw up plays to where our heisman qb has to take a hit and don’t do your job efficiently you’re just not going to play it’s as simple as that. Plus do we really need any changes to our offense right now? I mean we have the best offense in the league keep rolling with Clyde

I’m rooting for emery and think he will be a great player, just not this year

I agree. It's hard to have a normal conversation with our own fan base. I think Emery needs more touches. I would hate for the top ranked back from last year to enter the transfer portal. And I think it will happen if Evans commits. LSU has ALWAYS used a committee of running backs

We'll see him.some over the next 3 weeks. Maybe not too much this Saturday with OTs out.

But to put him in means taking CEH and TDP out of the game. If you were the coach, why do you put in a fumbling freshman thats learning the playbook and pass blocking in against top 10 opponents? Especially since we have better options?

I'm glad we aren't just feeding the 5 stars

We are going to run more next year without Burrow here.

And it'll be TDP, Emery, and Evans. There are plenty enough touches to keep that trio happy.

the offensive coaches, coaching an LSU offense that is breaking records, probably have no clue what they are doing

Because the question is always framed like there is something going on besides what we have seen with our own eyes

Anyone who has watched the games and watched the 3 backs play knows EXACTLY why Emery isn’t playing much.

Why do we have to have this thread literally every week when it is clearly obvious what the answer is?

So????

The coaches obviously don’t want him to right now. Why isn’t that a good enough reason?

I'm curious...why? Because he fumbled once 5 or 6 games ago? Because missed an assignment? He missed a block?

I’ll try to make it as simple as possible.

At the current time, Emery just isn’t very good. Especially when compared to the 2 guys getting PT ahead of him.

Why are you and others trying to make it any more complicated than that?

Why they are using Price instead of Emery is still a mystery .

Price is way bigger than Emery. CEH is a short jitterbug and TDP is a bulldozer. TDP is much more different that CEH than Emery is.

Note: I'm not saying CEH isn't powerful. He is. But his school set is making people miss in space. TDP's specialty is power off tackle.

Coach O isn't Butch Jones. He's not going to sit the better RB and play the bigger recruit because of his rep. Coach O is trying to do something special here and he's playing the RB that gives him the best chance to accomplish that.

Coach O made the right call and CEH just cemented himself a spot in Tiger history. I don't think it's a knock on Emery. I'm sure he'll have a fine career. It's just that right now CEH is playing some of the best football I've ever seen.

Clyde fumbled back to back games vs Vandy and Utah State one of which was scooped and scored.

He fumbled 1 time. Clyde also Fumbled twice early in the year. I’m hoping we see more of both the freshman in the next 2 games once we’re blowing out Ole Piss and Arky

Please explain how he is a “fumbling freshman” based off of fumbling 1 time. Were you calling Clyde a “fumbling Junior” when he fumbled in back to back games earlier this year?

You know maybe Emery just isn’t as good as some of y’all thought. CEH is obviously the man, then Price, and then there is Emery.

I just don’t understand why all these Emery fanboys can’t admit the fact that he just isn’t ready yet.

It is obvious.

I hope the kid ends up with a great college career and ends up one of the greats.

But we’ve got something special this year and could give a shite if Emery gets another carry or not this season.
