0-1 for sure. Then we'll see how the recovery goes.

I’d say playoff and bust.

Cause if we get in I’m nutting everywhere

Barring catastrophic injuries to key players like QB, I think LSU is a playoff team and here's why.....

Veteran and very productive QB
Stable of explosive RB's that can also catch
Mix of highly recruited and proven veteran OL
Experience at TE between Sharp and Green
Elite explosiveness at WR

Deep and veteran interior defensive line
Productive Power 4 starting players at Edge
Returning great production at LB supplemented with young talent as well.
A massively upgraded secondary with elite level players
A solid special teams unit
3 great options at return man.

We all clearly expect them to wrap up the portal with safety help and another OL. Once they do that, there really just aren't many holes left on paper.

Can you tell me why do you think we would go 10-2 with everyone new joining our team?

Yall maybe should look at the current playoff teams for some guidance.

Right now, our current LSU roster is made up of close to 40% transfers. The only 3 teams in the playoffs who are close to this is SMU at 40%, Indiana at 40% and Arizona at 53%.

Then we have a huge drop off to 27% which is Oregon, Tennessee at 22%, followed by Boise at 21%.

The remaining 7 playoff teams are around 15% or less with Clemson being the odd man with only 1 transfers.

It's incredibly hard to take a ton of transfers and hope they fit into your system. Some of these guys won't fit, no matter how "talented" they are ALA Denver Harris.

Not being a negatiger, just pointing out some numbers.

I expect Kelly to lose to Clemson and then find two more losses at least to miss the playoff

10-2 and host a playoff game.

If not, heads will roll.

Maybe they'll fit and maybe they won't. All we can do is base our judgements off of the metrics we have in front of us. We won't find out if they fit until they do or they don't but it's unquestioned that LSU has added double digit veteran productive starters to this roster in spots where you dearly needed help. From the data we have, on paper, LSU should be an elite team next year.

Given how much hand wringing pundits are doing about resumes based on all these blowouts, that Clemson game may end up being a huge help for us, win or lose with the committee

I'm back on the typical off-season (nearly) expectations of a national championship.
