Wrong. The media loved chirping on all of the off field bullshite because it drove engagement during what would have otherwise been a media dead period. Now the games have started, LSU destroyed Clemson with zero “pro players”, Michigan has a controversial last minute win, etc, etc. They don’t need the off field drama anymore. Plenty of other things to talk about.

They were talking about litigation, court and SEC punishments for playing “pros” and he said something like, “Well, LSU still hasn’t broken any SEC rules, but they broke something else tonight.”

I agree, but unfortunately that’s where we are. There have to be rules that everyone has to follow and as long as local courts can bring rulings to favor their school of choice, we will never get there. This is only the beginning too, even after congress does something, it’s gonna have to get ruled on by the Supreme Court to put a stop to it.
The NCAA continues to shite on itself, so they can’t be trusted to fix any of this.
